It was first developed in 1982 in Woodbridge, Virginia for Celtic and Viking personae in Aratari Dagorhir's Free Company of Gwynedd.
It was then introduced in Markland in 1987, and in the SCA* in 1989 by Anglesey.
Our emphasis is on combat tactics, woodscraft, stealth and melee warfare .
